I have over thirty five years of experience in helping people with a range of different problems and distress, across the lifespan. I have worked in a variety of National Health Service and voluntary organisations. I am currently employed full time as a cognitive behavioural therapist in Manchester. I receive referrals from many people to include GPs and now offer EMSRP.

My involvement in EMSRP dates back to 2003 and the London Institute of Creativity and Leadership. A programme which incorporated many of the key elements found in EMSRP today. I am also a qualified hypnotherapist.  My approach to both hypnotherapy and EMSRP is influenced by Vipassana meditation as taught by S. N. Goenka and the work of Byron Katie. Owen has been practising Vipassana meditation since 2004.

I am a fully qualified and registered Art Psychotherapist. Since qualifying in 2009, her work has primarily been with adolescents and adults both individually and in groups.
